Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the position of Junior Survey Officer:
- Possess a Mine Surveyor Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted) issued by a recognized authority.
- Have a minimum of 10 years of service as a Mine Surveyor in T&S Grade A/A1.
- Provide SSC or equivalent certificates as proof of age.
- For candidates with qualifications obtained through correspondence or distance education, an NOC (No Objection Certificate) from SCCL is mandatory.

Selection Process
The selection process comprises several stages to ensure that the most qualified candidates are selected.
Application Screening:

Document Verification:

Written Test:

Assessment Reports:

Final Selection:
The final merit list is prepared based on the combined scores of the written test and assessment reports. Selected candidates are notified and assigned roles accordingly.

Junior Survey Officers are responsible for conducting detailed surveys of mining areas, ensuring precision in excavation and operations. Reservation Policies

Definition of Local Candidate:
A local candidate is one who has:
- Studied in Telangana for at least seven consecutive academic years before the qualifying examination, or
- Resided in the state for the same period if formal education was not pursued.
Non-local candidates may apply under general terms but do not receive the same priority as local candidates.
